PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for adjusting the magnetic force lines of a magnetic roller, which enables easy adjustment of the magnetic force lines of each of the magnetic poles of the magnet roller and which can suitably be used in the test of magnetic characteristics and fine adjustment. SOLUTION: A method for adjusting the magnetic force lines of each magnetic pole of the magnet roller having a cylindrical magnetic layer 3 with a plurality of magnetic poles includes sticking an adjusting plate 1, made of a magnetic material, to a roller surface above the target magnetic pole or around it, and varying the magnetic force lines of the magnetic pole.
