The pump (1) has a cam gear for converting rotating movement of a drive shaft (3) over a cam (5) into hub movement of a pump piston (8) of the pump. The cam is formed as a three-fold cam, where the three-fold cam exhibits projections (6, 6', 6'') arranged at a rotation axis (4) of the drive shaft at an angle of 120 degrees at a distant to each other. The pump piston is driven by the cam provided on the drive shaft indirectly by the hub movement in a radial direction to the rotation axis of the drive shaft.
