<p>A container 10 comprises a main body 12 with a first engagement portion 27 and a door member 14 with a second engagement portion 29. The main body 12 is linked to the door member 14 by a hinge 20, 21 which permits the door member 14 to rotate relative to said main body 12 between a first open position and a second closed position in which the door member 14 is retained; and permits the door member 14 to translate parallel to said hinge 20, 21 to an intermediate position between the first and second positions. The first and second engagement portions 27, 29 are engageable so as to prevent movement of the door member 14 from the second position to the first position except via the intermediate position. The main body 12 comprises a first guide surface 22 and the door member 14 comprises a second guide surface 24, the first and second guide surfaces 22, 24 being brought into contact as the door member 14 moves between the first and second positions and cooperating so as to translate said door member 14 between said first and intermediate positions respectively. During movement of the door member 14 from the first to the intermediate position the first engagement portion 27 passes the second engagement portion 29. When said door member 14 is in the intermediate position, the door member 14 may move relative to said main body 12 in a direction substantially parallel to said hinge 20 between said intermediate position and the second position.
