PURPOSE: A washing apparatus is provided to prevent interference between a drum and a tub by the improvement in the shape of a tub in consideration of the movement of a drum. CONSTITUTION: A washing apparatus comprises a tub(10), a drum(30), a drive unit, and a suspension assembly. The tub accepts washing water. The drum is rotatably installed inside the tub. The drive unit comprises a rotary shaft connected to a drum, a bearing housing supporting a rotary shaft, and a motor for rotating the rotary shaft. The suspension assembly reduces the vibration of the drum and supports the drum. |
