X-RAY MORPHOMETRIC METHOD FOR ASSESSMENT OF ATROPHY OF HEIGHT OF ALVEOLAR RIDGE IN PATHOLOGY OF PERIODONTAL TISSUES

摘要

A X-ray morphometric method for the assessment of the atrophy of the height of alveolar ridge in the pathology of periodontal tissues comprises spot film radiography using the standard positioner. The data are compared according to the reading of the measuring bar with the scale. The standard positioner is held by the teeth with the aid of the installed silicone registrate of the antagonistic teeth.
