PURPOSE: It controls the current flowing in according to the temperature change of coil and the image apparatus for reducing the harmonic component and the method thereof equipped with the overload protection regularly keep the temperature of the image apparatus for reducing the harmonic component. CONSTITUTION: The detection unit(130) detects the temperature of the zigzag wiring transformer. The controller(140) generates the tap switch control signal for the overload protection. According to the tap switch control signal which the tap switching arrangement(160) generates in controller, the tap switch activate signal is generated.
