The method involves selecting content i.e. audiovisual content, from a telecommunication network terminal (3), and generating identification information of the selected content. A marker generating request is sent to an additional content server (5). The request is delivered from the server, and a marker is generated and recorded, where the marker comprises identification data of the user, identifying information of the selected content and characteristics data permitting complementary search of the content in relation with the selected content. An independent claim is also included for a system for generating data to complementary search of content to a destination of a telecommunication network terminal.
