POLYMER ELECTROLYTE MEMBRANE, MEMBRANE-ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY USING THE SAME, AND FUEL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer electrolyte membrane enabling a fuel cell to be manufactured which has sufficiently high power generation performance even under high current density, to provide a membrane-electrode assembly employing the polymer electrolyte membrane, and to provide the fuel cell.

SOLUTION: The thickness of the polymer electrolyte membrane containing a polymer electrolyte is 25μm or less, and the dimensional change rate of the polymer electrolyte membrane in a surface direction at the time when transferring it between a wet state in which adsorption of water is saturated at 80°C and a dry state in which adsorption of water reaches equilibrium at 23°C and a relative humidity of 50% is 5-25%.
