<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically switch execution/non-execution of pixel increase conversion processing. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus is equipped with: a multimedia processor 113 including a decode circuit 301 for decoding compressed video data and arithmetic cores 311-314 each for performing pixel increase conversion processing on the video data decoded by the decode circuit; a software decode module 602 for decoding compressed video data; and a provision destination switching module 601 for detecting a switching request for switching execution/non-execution of pixel increase conversion processing and switching a provision destination of the compression-coded video data from one of the multimedia processor and the decoding means to the other of the multimedia processor and the decoding means so as not to divide a screen group structure that is the minimum unit for managing the compression-coded video data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
