PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a degree of freedom in memory control and improve the processing speed of data writing. SOLUTION: A non-volatile memory 13 includes a plurality of banks BA1 to BAN which are required to be erased in data rewriting and can be respectively independently driven and can access each address at random. A memory controller 12 controls data writing so as to conceal the erase operation of the non-volatile memory 13. A host 11 executes a host application, determines the number of interleaves, which indicates the number of banks to be driven in parallel in the non-volatile memory 13, and notifies the memory controller 12 of the number of interleaves. Further, the host 11 notifies the memory controller 12 of an address space in the host 11, which is used by the host application, and an access unit set in the host application.
