PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for mounting a rotating operation member, including a structure capable of suppressing twist occurring in an elastic member when a rotary knob is rotationally operated, and preventing the unnecessary motion of the rotating operation member by restoring force of the twist. SOLUTION: The structure for mounting a rotating operation member is structured such that: an elastic member 4 includes a flat bottom face part 41 and a cylindrical projecting part 42 extended on the bottom face part; the bottom face part of the elastic member is arranged by being tightly fitted to the inner surface of a case 2; the projecting part is arranged by penetrating a case opening 21 of the case to be projected outward from the inside of the case; and a shaft 31 includes a first overlap part A inserted from the inside to the outside of the case through the inside of the projecting part and bringing the inner surface of the projecting part into contact with an outer peripheral surface of the shaft, a second overlap part B for bringing the outer surface of the projecting part into contact with an inner wall surface 53 of a rotary knob 5, and a third overlap part C for bringing the outer surface of the projecting part into contact with the inner wall surface of the opening 21 of the case.
