<p>PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing tool steel is provided to improve yield rate without the lowering of temperature of molten steel since vanadium is collected from slag within ladle. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing tool steel comprises following steps. Vanadium alloy steel is loaded into an electric furnace in charging material. In tapping steel, 25~40kg of slag per molten steel 1 tone flows out from the electric furnace and flows in a ladle. The reducing agent is put into molten steel during tapping steel, and slag and molten steel are agitated.</p> |
