<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier of a catalyst for cleaning exhaust gas capable of suppressing sintering of the catalyst at a high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The carrier of a catalyst for cleaning exhaust gas consists of an alumina composite oxide with a composition expressed by general formula (1): AB<SB>y</SB>Al<SB>12-y</SB>O<SB>z</SB>, wherein A is Ba<SB>x</SB>La<SB>1-x</SB>, B is Fe or Ti; x, y and z are atomic ratios of respective elements, and 0.8≥x>0, 1≥y≥0, and z is the number of oxygen atoms required for satisfying the valences of the above respective components. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
