FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing odorant for natural gas from mercaptan-containing hydrocarbons. Proposed method consists in that mix of natural mercaptans is subjected to two-stage fractionation to produce vapor and liquid phases. Note here that condensed vapor phase formed at first phase conducted at 0.190.23 MPa and 80105C is, then, fractionated at 0.150.17 MPa and 6585C.
