FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: hydrogen chloride from waste gases from production of organic chlorine-containing substances is absorbed with ammonium chloride solution. The obtained chloride liquor is neutralised with ammonia, the obtained ammonium chloride solution is cooled and the precipitated crystals are separated. Absorption takes place in two steps. At the first step, the absorber is sprinkled with ammonium chloride solution obtained by neutralising chloride liquor with ammonia to pH 2.5-3 after the second absorption step. At the second step, the absorber is sprinkled with the filtrate obtained after separating ammonium chloride crystals precipitated from chloride liquor which is neutralised with ammonia to pH 4.5-5 after the first absorption step. ^ EFFECT: invention increases degree of absorption of hydrogen chloride from waste gases, reduces release of ammonia vapour into the gas phase during liquor neutralisation and extraction of ammonium chloride crystals while preventing formation of explosive nitrogen chloride. ^ 7 ex |
