The protective gas-welding control device (18) comprises a controllable protective gas flow valve (34) for controlling the protective gas quantity, a controllable cooling water flow valve (40) for controlling the cooling water quantity, and a controllable pneumatic valve (54) for controlling a flushing air flow, where the valves are summarized in an exchangeable common fluid unit, which has a common carrier for the valves. The control device has a common fluid channel block with throughflow channels for the protective gas, the cooling water and the flushing air. A non-return valve arranged to the protective gas channel and/or a non-return valve arranged to the cooling water is arranged at the fluid channel block. The protective gas flow valve is a part of a protective gas mass flow regulator (30), the cooling water flow valve is a part of a cooling water flow regulator and/or the pneumatic valve is a part of a flushing gas mass flow regulator. The protective gas mass flow regulator, the cooling water flow regulator and/or the flushing gas mass flow regulator are formed as own module detachable from the fluid unit. The cooling water flow regulator comprises cooling water flow valve and a flow sensor, which are formed as own module separated from each other. The module and/or the modules are prefabricated elements detachably and exchangeably introduced at the fluid channel block. The device has temperature sensors for detecting flowed-in and flowing-out cooling water temperature, where the temperature sensors are introduced as separate prefabricated elements at the fluid channel block. The device has a protective gas monitoring sensor and/or a pressure regulator for protective gas, is controlled over a controller area network bus system, has a controller area network bus-connection interface for the protective gas-, cooling water- and flushing gas control, and is fixed at a robot base. The protective gas flow valve and the cooling water flow valve are pre-adjusted to a predetermined flow rate of protective gas and/or cooling water before connecting pipelines for the protective gas and the cooling water. |
