ZINC OXIDE/TITANIUM DIOXIDE COMPOSITE PARTICLES AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to zinc oxide/titanium dioxide composite particles, and a preparation method thereof. According to the present invention, the zinc oxide/titanium dioxide composite particles use titanium dioxide as a seed of which the size is greater than 100 nm, and zinc oxide is composed to the surface of said titanium dioxide, and thus the diameter of all single particles exceeds 100 nm. Therefore, there is no worry about being harmful to the human body due to particle size, the zinc oxide/titanium dioxide composite particles have a wide UV blocking range of not only the UVB range but also the UVA range, and a feeling of use is remarkably improved over known titanium dioxide, and thus the zinc oxide/titanium dioxide composite particles can be useful in a cosmetic material used for blocking ultraviolet rays.
