<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress variations in power supply to a load by suppressing delay in the rise of a power element being turned on. <P>SOLUTION: A load drive device includes a clamp action off-fixing circuit comprising a switch section 13 and an impedance control circuit 14. In the clamp action off-fixing circuit, the impedance control circuit 14 makes the switch part 13 electrically continuous when a driving voltage is equal to or lower than a reference voltage REF2 equivalent to a clamp off-control reference voltage to thereby switch off a clamp action by a clamp control circuit 8. Even if a variation in the reference voltage during switching causes transient noise, the clamp control circuit 8 can be prevented from malfunctioning when a power element 5 starts to be turned on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
