PLATE LEVELING METHOD AND APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A plate leveling apparatus and a method thereof are provided to secure the flatness of front and rear portions of a plate by controlling the position of a regulating roll for securing residual stress and flatness of the plate. CONSTITUTION: A plate leveling apparatus(1) comprises a work roll(30), a backup roll(50), and plate regulating units(110, 120). The work roll corrects the flatness of a plate by being contacted with the plate. The backup roll supports the work roll. The plate regulating units are installed in one or more portions of input and output sides of the leveling apparatus.
