The device has an arcuate blade (21) secured to a brake fluid reservoir (20) in a longitudinal direction of a bonnet beam (10) made of an elastic material to allow a change of direction of curvature of the blade in response to transverse force. Two cavities (24, 25) are arranged at ends of the blade and cooperate by shape matching with two pins (14, 15) arranged on the bonnet beam, where the reservoir is fixed on the bonnet beam after pre-positioning and holding the reservoir on the beam by pressing the blade on the beam by reversing the direction of the curvature of the blade. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for pre-maintenance and fixing of a brake fluid reservoir on the beam of bonnet of motor vehicle (2) a motor vehicle comprising a brake fluid reservoir.
