摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal material composition that reliably achieves reduction in a drive voltage and a higher display response speed and can reduce electric power consumption, and to provide a liquid crystal electro-optic device including the liquid crystal material composition, and a production method of polycrystalline barium titanate particles. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal material composition is configured to include polycrystalline barium titanate particles having an average primary particle diameter of 100 nm or less dispersed in a liquid crystal material; and the composition achieves reduction in a drive voltage and a higher display response speed and can reduce electric power consumption. A liquid crystal electro-optic device including the liquid crystal material composition can be used as various types of liquid crystal displays, and can be used as electro-optic components, for an optical element of a liquid crystal projector (projection type liquid crystal display device) or an optical modulation electro-optic component in optical communication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
