An ambulation training device, which specifies the user's ambulatory phase and operates in coordination with a movement-assisting device that is worn and gives the user a motive power corresponding to said ambulatory phase, the ambulation training device being equipped with: a load-relieving device that lifts up the user and relieves the load on the legs; a movement means capable of moving in synchrony with the user's ambulation; and a control unit that controls the movement speed of the movement means and/or the amount of load relief provided by the load-relieving device on the basis of the position of the user's center of gravity, which is detected by the worn movement-assisting device.
