摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine for increasing interest in a game by enabling a player to fully realize that enjoyment and a sense of achievement differ depending on timing of winning a jackpot. <P>SOLUTION: A main CPU performs control either in a high probability game state or in a low probability game state, transits a game state to the high probability game state when a jackpot is won, and transits a game state to the low probability game state when the number of special symbol variations reaches 74 in the high probability game state. A sub CPU is set to a normal game mode, a first specific game mode, a second specific game mode, or a third specific game mode, and executes performance in accordance with the set game mode. Basically, in the low probability game state, the normal game mode is set; in the high probability game state, the first specific game mode is set; and for a period right before the termination of the high probability game state, the second specific game mode is set.
