PURPOSE: A high-strength copper alloy is provided to prevent nonuniform material properties, aecular changes, and stress corrosion cracking by employing only a small amount of zinc. CONSTITUTION: A high-strength copper alloy comprises Ni of 0.05wt.% max, Mn of 8.0-15.0wt.%, Sn of 5.0-15.0wt.%, Al of 10.0wt.% max, Zn of 5.0wt.% max, Fe of 3.8wt.% max, and Si of 3.0wt.% max.
