PURPOSE: A portable terminal and operation method thereof are provided to output three dimensional stereophonic sounds by recording sound sources corresponding to the selected objects. CONSTITUTION: A sound processing module classifies inputted sound signals into each sound source(S305). The sound processing module create space information corresponding to a created sound source signal(S310). The sound processing module creates a three dimensional sound signal by using the sound source signal and the space information(S315). A control unit stores the created three dimensional stereophonic sound signal in a memory(S320).
