<p>PURPOSE: A subway station alarm system of a portable terminal is provided to offer a transfer station alarm, a mistake alarm, and a destination alarm. CONSTITUTION: A center processing unit(70) maps subway driving information received from a subway information unit on a subway map received from a memory unit. The center processing unit transmits the subway map in which a current position is mapped to a display unit. When a position of a portable terminal approaches to a transfer station which is searched as an optimal path, the center processing unit transmits transfer station alarm information to the display unit and an alarm unit. When a position of a portable terminal approaches to a destination which is searched as the optimal path, the center processing unit transmits arrival alarm information to the display unit and the alarm unit.
