<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle driver condition determination device for determining the degree of alertness of a vehicle driver even when acceleration is generated in a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A pressure sensor 2 is arranged on a seating face of a vehicle, and a center-of-gravity point R is detected from pressure data of the pressure sensor 2. When acceleration is applied to the vehicle, that is, when the vehicle enters/leaves a curve or the vehicle accelerates/decelerates, a convergence time ΔTc until the center-of-gravity point R converges in a reference area E being a peripheral area of a certain reference center-of-gravity O is measured, and the degree of alertness of a vehicle driver is determined in accordance with the length of the convergence time ΔTc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
