PURPOSE: A step type sporting apparatus is provided to effectively exercise by using spring tension of a footstool in which both feet of a user are placed. CONSTITUTION: A step type sporting apparatus comprises a base plate (100) which equipps with support rods in both sides; a footstool (10) in which both feet of a user are placed and connection rods are formed at one end and the connection rods are hinge connected with the supporting rods by hinge members; a tension adjustable buffer unit (40) which is equipped at the lower part of the footstool and supports vertical exercise of the footstool; and tension control parts(30) which are supported by both end sides of a supporting member which is equipped in the center of the support rod and are connected to connection hooks in the middle of the connection rod by being elastically supported by using first springs.
