摘要 <p>A positive electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery, which comprises a complex of an oxide represented by the following compositional formula Li2(M1-yLiy)(Si,MB)O4 (wherein M represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of Fe, Mn, Co and Ni; and MB represents an element that is substituted for Si for the purpose of compensating for the electrical charge of y molecules of Li+) and a carbon material, wherein y in the compositional formula for the oxide is more than 0 and up to 0.25 (i.e., 0 <y <= 0.25), the complex has a sea-island structure in which the oxide is scattered as island phases in the carbon material, and the average value of equivalent circle diameters of island parts in the sea-island structure is 3 to 15 nm inclusive; a positive electrode member for a lithium ion secondary battery, which is produced using the positive electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery; and a lithium ion secondary battery.</p>
