摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise of a PET detector.SOLUTION: In a combined scanner, a main magnet 20 and a magnetic field gradient coil 28 respectively stored in scanner housings 12 and 18 acquire magnetic resonance spatially encoded in an imaging area 14. A radiation solid-state detector 50 stored in the scanner housing is configured so as to detect a gamma ray radiated from the imaging area. Time-of-flight positron emission tomography (TOF-PET) processing units 52, 54, 58, 60 and 62 determine a localized response line on the basis of positions of substantially simultaneous gamma ray detections outputted from the radiation detector and a time interval of the substantially simultaneous gamma ray detections. A TOF-PET reconfiguration processing unit 64 reconfigures the localized response line so as to generate a TOF-PET image. A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) reconfiguration processing unit 44 reconfigures the acquired magnetic resonance so as to generate an MRI image.
