PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing for a strut capable of enhancing sealing performance by suppressing a water spray amount on the seal lip of a strut type suspension device.SOLUTION: A bearing for a strut includes: an inner ring 21 fixed via a seat member 13 to a shaft-side support member 11 attached to the upper end of a strut shaft 2; an outer ring 22 fixed to a ring member 16 embedded in a body-side support member 15 attached to a vehicle body; and a plurality of rolling elements 23 interposed between the inner ring 21 and the outer ring 22. An opening 28 is formed between the upper face of the seat member 13 and the lower face of the ring member 16 while the body-side support member 15 is fixed to the strut shaft 2; the outer peripheral edge of the inner ring 21 is extended radially outward to form a flange 21b; a sealing member 31 is fixed to the flange 21b; and a seal lip 31a formed in the sealing member 31 comes in contact with the lower face of the ring member 16. |
