PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel transdermal drug delivery system.SOLUTION: An adhesive composition which does not contain functional groups containing reactive hydrogen moieties and does not contain post-polymerization chemical crosslinker finds use in transdermal drug delivery systems. The invention enables the administration of drugs containing a reactive functional group, which drugs have heretofore not been able to be administered by the transdermal route using conventional acrylic adhesives.
