PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system startup control method which can improve stability of power generation at the next startup time regardless of moisture content in the fuel cell.SOLUTION: The fuel cell system startup control method includes a second step in which, when the fuel cell system starts up, at least one of a cathode gas supply flow rate and a cathode gas pressure at which the gas is supplied to the fuel cell is set according to a moisture content in the fuel cell estimated from an impedance value. In the second step, the cathode gas flow rate is set to a higher flow rate the higher the moisture content is, and the cathode gas pressure is set to lower pressure the higher the moisture content is. Cathode gas is supplied to the fuel cell on the basis of one of the cathode gas supply flow rate and the cathode gas pressure which were set in the second step as the fuel cell system starts up. |
