PURPOSE: A cream containing an Ulmus davidiana var. japonica extract for treating atopic dermatitis is provided to effectively treat atopic dermatitis. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a cream composition for treating atopic dermatitis comprises the steps of: pulverizing Ulmus davidiana var. japonica in a size of 0.3-3 um and mixing with glycerin and water; centrifuging the dissolved liquid at 3000 rpm for 30 minutes; separating a supernatant to obtain an aqueous layer and heating the aqueous layer; mixing Vaseline, cetyl alcohol, beeswax, lecithin, and a natural antiseptic, preparing an oil layer, and heating the oil layer; and mixing the aqueous layer and the oil layer.
