PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector which can exhibit excellent waterproof function, without performing the processing for enhancing waterproofness after molding a housing and a contact integrally.SOLUTION: The housing fixation part 12d of a contact 12 has a cross-sectional area smaller than that of overhanging parts 12e at both ends, in the cross-section perpendicular to the length direction of the contact 12. When molding the housing 11 and the contact 12 integrally, an insulating resin composing the housing 11 adheres to the surface of a portion 12c of the contact 12 buried in the housing 11. The insulating resin in contact with the surface of the housing fixation part 12d is held between the overhang surfaces 12f of both overhanging parts 12e, and thereby peeling-off of the insulating resin from the surface of the housing fixation part 12d is avoided. |
