PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device capable of positioning a relative positional relation between an image sensor and an ADF with much higher accuracy than a conventional manner.SOLUTION: In a compound machine 1, when the image of an original to be conveyed in an ADF unit 4 is read, a support body 23 stops at a reading position P. Also, when the support body 23 moves to the reading position P1, a first protrusion 81 and a second protrusion 82 disposed as a release part separate the support body 23 from a guide part 61 to release the contact of the support body 23 and the guide part 61. In this state, the support body 23 abuts to an abutment part 51C. The abutment part 51C is configured as a portion the allowance of whose relative position to the ADF unit 4 is smaller than that of the guide part 61. |
