MESOPOROUS METAL OXIDE, FUEL REFORMING CATALYST AND FUEL REFORMING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mesoporous metal oxide capable of providing a fuel reforming catalyst excellent in low-temperature activity and high-temperature durability, and to provide a fuel reforming catalyst and a fuel reforming system using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a mesoporous metal oxide having a silicon oxide skeleton and contains silicon and cerium. There is provided a fuel reforming catalyst which contains the mesoporous metal oxide and a first catalyst component and a second catalyst component which are supported on the mesoporous metal oxide and generates hydrogen from a fuel. The first catalyst component contains at least one kind selected from the group consisting of magnesium, lanthanum, zirconium and niobium. The second catalyst component contains at least one kind selected from the group consisting of platinum, rhodium, palladium, nickel and cobalt. The fuel reforming system is equipped with a catalyst reactor including the fuel reforming catalyst.
