Provided are an emotion exchange apparatus and a method for providing an emotion exchange. The emotion exchange apparatus comprises a communication part receiving an emotion signal of an emotion communicator from an external device; an output part outputting the emotion signal; an input part receiving a corresponding emotion signal corresponding to the emotion signal; and a control part combined with one or more among the output part, the input part, and the communication part, receiving the emotion signal from the exterior device through the communication part, outputting the emotion signal auditorily or visually, receiving the corresponding emotion signal from the input part, and transmitting the corresponding emotion signal to the exterior device through the communication part. |
