<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct disclination so as to display a natural image.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a uniformity detection circuit 103 for detecting uniformity of average brightness of plural areas 1-12 respectively having a plurality of pixels and set on an image screen; and an alignment defect suppression circuit 105 for correcting disclination of a liquid crystal by a first correction amount commonly given with respect to each area and a second correction amount separately given with respect to each area. The second correction amount when the uniformity is a second value larger than a first value is smaller than the second correction amount when the uniformity is the first value.</p> |
