The present invention is concerned with an oral hygiene implement (100) attachable to a handle of an oral hygiene device having a housing (150), a functional element (130) movably mounted at the housing such that it can be driven into a motion, a motion transmitter element(110) coupled with the functional element (130), and an adhesive layer (180) provided at the motion transmitter element for adhesively coupling the motion transmitter element with a drive shaft of the handle when being attached, optionally wherein the adhesive layer is chosen such that the adhesive connection established after attachment is essentially non-destructively separable.
