1. A method for melting frost, rime, ice and/or snow present on a motor vehicle window, using a wiper blade designed to supply heat to the window in a melting cycle associated with an upstroke or downstroke of the blade, the method comprising:
causing the wiper blade to supply heat to the window so that the supply of heat causes the frost, rime, ice and/or snow present on the vehicle window to melt; in a first sequence, moving the wiper blade to sweep a first swept area, the first area being delimited by a starting position of the blade and an extreme position of the blade in this first sequence; and in a second sequence, moving the wiper blade to sweep a second swept area delimited by a starting position of the blade and an extreme position of the blade in this second sequence, wherein the first sequence and the second sequence cause the blade to move in the same direction in the same melting cycle.
