<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger with a portable terminal misplacement prevention function capable of surely alerting, with simple operation, to misplacement of a portable terminal in a vehicle.SOLUTION: A charger 1 with a portable terminal misplacement prevention function comprises: a charge unit 4 for making a portable terminal 3 be charged with power supplied from a vehicle side power supply 11; a current detection unit 5 for detecting current 12 flowing from the vehicle side power supply 11 to the charge unit 4 and current 13 flowing from the charge unit 4 to the portable terminal 3; and a misplacement determination unit 7 for determining whether or not the portable terminal 3 is misplaced in a vehicle 14. The misplacement determination unit 7 determines that the portable terminal 3 is misplaced in the vehicle 14 and makes an alerting device 9 originate an alert, when the current detection unit 5 detects that power supply from the vehicle 14 side is turned OFF and detects that current flowing from the charge unit 4 to the portable terminal 3 is ON.</p> |
