PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight radiation shield substance and radiation shielding product having excellent radiation shield effect.SOLUTION: Radiation comprises: a granulated or powdered glass bead (A) which reduces the number of photons of radiation such as an X-ray and a gamma ray by retroreflection or scattered reflection; and a shield material (B) which is bonded via a binder (C) so as to cover the whole peripheral surface of the glass bead and attenuates transmittivity of radiation or shields radiation.
