PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemically stable sizing agent for glass fiber, which eliminates the need for a deoiling process by a heat cleaning treatment, water flow fabrication, or the like, and can reduce generation of fuzz; a glass fiber coated with the sizing agent; a product using the glass fiber; and a method for producing glass cloth.SOLUTION: Provided is a sizing agent for a glass fiber, containing a silane coupling agent, which does not substantially contain starch, synthetic fiber, and epoxy resin components. Preferable is a sizing agent for glass fiber according to claim 1, where the silane coupling agent is an aminosilane or an aminosilane hydrochloride. Also provided is a glass fiber coated with the sizing agent for glass fiber.
