PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately correct a multi-viewpoint image including a defective pixel.SOLUTION: In an image processing apparatus 100, an acquiring unit 110 acquires information on which pixels are defective pixels among pixels constituting plural sub-images in a multi-viewpoint image including the plural sub-images obtained by imaging a subject at different viewpoints. In an identifying unit 120, from pixels constituting sub-images different from the sub-images including defective pixels identified from the plural sub-images on the basis of the information acquired by the acquiring unit 110, pixels estimated to represent a region identical to a region of a subject which is to be represented by the defective pixels are identified as corresponding pixels. A correcting unit 130 corrects the multi-viewpoint image by rewriting the pixel values of the defective pixels on the basis of the pixel values of the corresponding pixels identified by the identifying unit 120.
