摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine capable of optimizing a fuel injection amount and an intake air amount.SOLUTION: In a diesel engine, a deviation amount &Dgr;f of fuel injection amounts is calculated on the basis of deviation between a reference heat generating amount Qb and an actual heat generating amount Qr (ST4), and a fuel injection amount from an injector is corrected according to the deviation amount &Dgr;f of the fuel injection amounts. By subtracting an actual heat generation rate gradient Sr from a reference heat generation rate gradient Sb, a deviation amount &Dgr;S of the heat generation rate gradients is calculated (ST6), and a deviation amount &Dgr;A of intake air amounts is calculated on the basis of the deviation amount &Dgr;S of the heat generation rate gradients and the deviation amount &Dgr;f of the fuel injection amounts (ST7), so that a boost pressure of a turbocharger is adjusted on the basis of the deviation amount &Dgr;A of the intake air amounts to correct the intake air amount (ST8). Thus the fuel injection amount and the intake air amount can be optimized.
