<p>The present invention relates to a method for a driving liquid crystal display apparatus, including the steps of generating a first and a second brightness data by correcting a first and a second gray scale data as a first gamma value; generating a smaller value among the first and the second brightness data as a sub-brightness data and correcting the sub-brightness data with use of a second gamma value which is bigger than a first gamma value, thereby generating the sub-corrected brightness data; using at least one among the sub-brightness data and the second brightness data and accordingly correcting a first brightness data, forming the first correcting brightness data; using at least one among sub-brightness data and the first brightness data and accordingly correcting the second brightness data, forming the second correcting brightness data; generating a first and a second corrected gray scale data and a sub-correcting gray scale data by reversely correcting the first and the second correcting brightness data and the sub-corrected brightness data as a first gamma value, thereby providing the first and the second corrected data and sub-corrected data for a first to a third pixel in a first field and driving a liquid crystal apparatus.</p> |
