<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary type carburetor capable of improving stability in operation of an engine in a high-speed operation region.SOLUTION: A rotary type carburetor (1) of this invention comprises a body (4) having a hole (2) of circular cross section and a valve element (6) accommodated in the hole (2). The valve element (6) is rotated between a closed position where its valve passage (16) is shut off from body passages (10a, 10b) of the body (4) and a fully-opened position where the valve passage (16) and the body passages (10a, 10b) are arranged in a row. When the valve element (6) is located at an idle position, air flowing through the body passages (10a, 10b) and the valve passage (16) is prevented from flowing into a hole end part (12). When the valve element (6) is located at the fully-opened position, a part of the air flowing from the upstream side (10a) of the body passage is branched into an upstream side communication part (32).</p> |
