摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection device able to make speckle inconspicuous and reduced in size and cost. <P>SOLUTION: The projection device comprises: an optical element; a first light source; a scanning device; a spatial light modulator; a first projection optical system configured to project a modulated image on the spatial light modulator onto a projection surface; a second light source; and a control part configured to control the scanning device and the spatial light modulator using a scan signal and an image signal respectively. According to a scan signal, the scanning device causes coherent light from the first light source to scan on the optical element, and causes non-visible light from the second light source to scan on the projection surface. Coherent light made incident on each position of the optical element and diverged illuminates the spatial light modulator in an overlapping manner. The projection device has a detection part that detects non-visible light reflected by an indicator for indicating a modulated image that has been projected. On the basis of a scan signal and an image signal at the timing of the detection of non-visible light by the detection part, the control part specifies the position on the modulated image indicated by the indicator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
