PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an operation position properly based on rubbing sound which is generated during handwriting slide operation.SOLUTION: A slide operation detection part 5 of electronic equipment compares pieces of waveform data output from plural pick-ups 53, 54 which measure rubbing sound generated during handwriting slide operation, and determines a time shift quantity between the waveforms. A central control part 1 calculates difference of distance from the respective pick-ups 53, 54 based on the time shift quantity, and identifies a rubbing sound generation point as an operation position of the handwriting slide operation, based on the difference of distance.
